ADO stands are found in the all three airport terminals. ADO offers periodic rides (every 30 or 45 minutes) that go only to their bus stations located in downtown Cancun and downtown Playa del Carmen. Visit www.ado.com.mx to see details.
Taxi cabs are found outside the exit gates of terminal 2 from 07:00-23:30, terminal 3. Taxis are available 24 hours at the Cancun Airport. Taxi services require cash only purchased tickets at booths inside the terminals. VIP Transportation consists of transfers in a Deluxe Suburban vehicle (for up to 5 passengers) with leather seats, DVD, complimentary water, welcome fresh towels and a bilingual driver.
Buses are the best way to get around Cancun. You can get from the Hotel Zone to almost anywhere for only 8.5 pesos (Mexican coins only). These are available anywhere in Cancun. The only restriction is that they are not allowed to collect from the airport. Taxi fares are set by how many zones you travel through.
